Monday

No sarnies, no sales leads and a crafty croissant.

A great start to the week. We've run out of bread for the kids' school lunches and I spend half an hour trying to find a friendly petrol station. Get to my desk at 9.30 and gobble up a croissant someone's left lying around. Good job I'm the Manager around here.

At the 9.15 - sorry, 9.45 - catch-up, Dave tell me he's worried about the leads we've been getting on our software products. Or not getting. When they do materialise, they're lukewarm at best and there's no incentive for our channel partners to share them or follow them up. Nightmare.

By the afternoon, its all sorted. We've been speaking to Se7en for a while now about how we can improve our lead management on their Customer Performance Program and they have delivered the solution. The lead-generation initiative launches on the Program next week and is targeted at our channel partners and rewards them with everything from cash and prizes to shopping vouchers for business influencing as well as delivery.
